Graphnet's Mobile Clinical Record
Graphnet’s Mobile Clinical record Technology (G-Mobile Clinical) is a mobilization of Graphnet systems to be used on a BlackBerry® Smartphone. G-Mobile Clinical is based around the Graphnet shared care record and utilises all of the consent and security features of Graphnet products. HCL Solutions have developed with Graphnet a system that enables healthcare professionals to retrieve clinical information as a mobile solution on a BlackBerry® Smartphone, without sacrificing the security and privacy of confidential patient information.
The BlackBerry® Smartphone with G-Mobile Clinical becomes a mobile secure data terminal allowing healthcare professionals to practice medicine virtually anywhere, at anytime, with secure access to the information and systems they need – right at their finger tips. This provides the mobile health professional both data retrieval and data entry that can be made available to colleagues in real time. As no data is stored on the device, subject to role based access control built into the application, all parties who need to access the data can.
BlackBerry® Security Advantages
All data between BES server and device is encrypted to 3DES 512 bit level
BlackBerry® technology is agreed to CESG standards
All phone data held on device SIM card is encrypted and if removed cannot be used on another device (i.e. phone numbers - call history)
Should a device be left unattended, then your customised security policy will ensure that the device be locked after 30 seconds (this can be customised to suit)
Should a device be lost then the whole device can be wiped remotely within a few minutes of notification
No data is stored locally on the device
